Every time we see this, we can't help smiling! Once you subscribe, you'll smile, too. These four buttons are your keys to a better teaching experience. In the upper right corner, you'll have access to setting up and updating your profile.
Take a look at our amazing "My Files" storage system designed just for teachers!
Our cloud-based storage is a breath of fresh air! Using tags and filters eliminates the need for cumbersome mazes of folders in various drives. You can store, organize, and sort through your materials in a flash using various filters, such as content area, material type, and keywords -- among many others.
When you click the "Upload New" button in "My Files," tagging and storing your materials is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1- Tag files with common elements. You can also tag one by one, but tagging multiple related items saves time.
2 - Tag individual files. Keyword tags on the first item become suggestions for the next items.
3 - Select "Private" or "Shared" status for each item. When you share, you can also add suggestions for use to spread your creative ideas for using the material in the classroom.
Save time and money when you browse, select, and save shared files in our "Discover" section.
Follow those four little birds to select your desired filters. More filters gives you more specific results. Think about expanding your search by grade level to find materials you can easily adapt for the students you teach.
When the results are displayed, choose items to save in "My Files." Return to "My Files" to organize your newly-discovered materials by tagging. You also have the option to download, modify, then re-upload, tag, and store your classroom-ready materials.
Take part in a conversation, ask a question, request a material, find a collaborator, join a group, get support, find inspiration, and take time to relax. In other words, "Connect."
Our vibrant social space takes on a deeper meaning when members come together who are also organizing their instructional materials and sharing their best work with each other. Imagine finding a great activity and then also getting to know the creator!
